This charity campaign will be held for six months, starting from July 1st, 2016 until January 31th, 2017. Each participating organization will be featured in a charity program campaign page on the website Saleduck and visitors can vote for their favorite NGO easily.
Collected votes will be calculated as a percentage (%) and in the end will determine the number of eligible charitable donations received by each organization. The more people who give their voice to LombokCare, the more the number of donations LombokCare will receive.
Therefore we request the help of all LombokCare family & friends to share this information in any way and please vote for LombokCare Foundation as your Favorite Charitable Organization!

That’s all! Simple right? Thank you very much for your help!
Today it was time for another session of Parenting Skills as a part of the Community Based Rehabilitation program.
Since not every child is getting speech therapy at LombokCare, we found it very important to share basic knowledge about speech therapy with all parents and also teachers. Our speech therapists Ibat & Vini shared some techniques that parents can use to improve the language skills of their children.
Also we had Psychologist dr. MA Muazar Habibi, S.Psi, M.Psych, M.Pd as a guest speaker today. Amazing how he managed to motivate and inspire the parents today about how to motivate their own children. Even some parents became very emotional and opened up to share their feelings and experiences they've had while raising their child with special needs.
Thank you Ibat, Vini, dr. Muazar Habibi & the LC crew for facilitating this event!

A new year! New chances! New ideas, and so on!
To LombokCare, today, the 18th of January 2016, is all about a fresh start of a new year! A great opportunity to open the program for 2016 in the presence of the Head of Social Affairs Province of Nusa Tenggara Barat, Husni Thamrin, with some of his staff, the head of the district Batulayar, Rinjani Trekking Club and of course the parents of 70 children who will participate in 2016 in the LombokCare REadycation program:
As a symbolic opening, Safa, Alma and Gede were allowed to open the big canvas on which all 70 children were revealed. An interesting speech was held by Mr. Husni Thamrin, in which he confirmed that LombokCare is the only social / non-profit organization in the province of Nusa Tenggara Barat in the field of rehabilitation for children with disabilities. Of course we are proud that LombokCare can be an example for the government, though ofcourse we prefer that all children across Lombok would have access to such help!
Despite the positive spirit of the new year we still were again made to face the facts. Unfortunately we can only help a limited number of children and there are many who are on the waiting list! Your help is desperately needed! Click here to see how you can help.

Last tuesday (1rst of dec) LombokCare was invited to take part in an event, organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs on both National and Provincial level, in the context of the National Solidarity Day and as well the International Day of People with a Disability. On the occasion of these special days, the governor of the province NTB, TGB M. Zainul Majdi, invited every level of the society to, not only on this day but throughout the whole year, work together towards social solidarity and at the same time to build together towerds a beautiful province NTB, regardless of your origins, whether you're having a disability or not.
Today, the 3rd of December 2015, of course was a special day for LombokCare, a day in which we yearly want to pay attention to the International Day of People with a Disabilty. To partly respond to the request of the Governor, we felt it is double important to get back to the basics, 'improve the world, start with yourself'! That is why today we have chosen this theme: 'You and I are the same, let's change our perception from DISABILITY to DISABILITY'.
During the discussion session held for the staff of LombokCare, time was given to Mantra, an inspirationeel artist and in this case a guest speaker as experiential expert, to tell his story. "I'm so glad my parents raised me normal and not as a 'handicapped person'. Thanks to them I do not label myself as 'disabled' but as a normal person and equal to every other individual, after all we have to be able to compete with the rest of the world in order to survive".
Thanks to Mantra, we were able to acquire beautiful new insights, hopefully his words keep repeating in our heads and remind and motivate us daily so we can do our job even better!
On the 2nd and 3rd of October LombokCare was invited to participate in the Job Fair which was organized by the ministry of labor / employment (Kementerian Tenaga Kerja). LombokCare got four stands available to provide information on LombokCare's activities / programs for people with disabilities.
By participating in this job fair, LombokCare has gained many new links that possibly could mean something for LombokCare in the future. To put the icing on the cake, LombokCare, along with four other companies / organizations, received an appreciation of the vice-governor of the Province Nusa Tenggara Barat, for fighting for the rights of people with disabilities in the field of employment! Well done! (Click on the pictures to go to the photo-album)
